And recite to them the news of Abraham. 69 When he said unto his father and his folk: What worship ye? 70 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." 71 He said, "Do they hear you when you supplicate? 72 "Or do you good or harm?" 73 They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. 74 He said: 'Have you considered what you worship, 75 and what your grandfathers worshipped 76 “They are all my enemies, except the Lord Of The Creation.” 77 Who created me, then He has shown me the way: 78 He Who feedeth me and giveth me to drink. 79 He who cures me when I am ill; 80 And He Who will cause me to die, then give me life; 81 And who, I hope, will condone my faults on the Day of Judgement. 82 Lord, grant me authority. Join me to the righteous ones. 83 And appoint for me an honourable mention among the posterity 84 Make me inherit the bountiful Paradise. 85 and forgive my father; for he is one of the misguided; 86 And abase me not on the day when they are raised, 87 The day when neither wealth nor children will be of any avail 88 except him who comes before Allah with a pure heart; 89 Paradise will be brought near those who take heed for themselves and follow the straight path; 90 And hell will appear plainly to the erring. 91 And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship 92 Other than God? Can they save you or even save themselves?" 93 Then they will be thrown headlong into Hell, both they and the misguided ones, 94 and so too the hosts of Iblis, all of them. 95 They will dispute between themselves therein, and will say, 96 By Allah! we were certainly in manifest error, 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 Only the sinful ones made us go astray. 99 “So now we do not have any intercessors.” (The believers shall have intercessors, the disbelievers none). 100 Nor any loving friend. 101 "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'" 102 In all this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 103 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
