The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21
