Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
