The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
