Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
