Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
