It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
