Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 He plunged the villages 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
