What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Does everyone of them wish to enter the Garden of Bliss? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 The Day whereon they shall come forth from the sepulchres hastily, as though they were to an altar hurrying. 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44
