Noah said, "Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose wealth and children will only bring about destruction for them. 21 "And they have devised a tremendous Plot. 22 They said: “Do not abandon your deities; do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Yauq, nor Nasr. 23 They have led many astray; so lead the wrongdoers to further error." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them. 25 Noah said: “My Lord, do not leave out of these unbelievers even a single dweller on earth, 26 “Indeed, if You spare them, they will mislead your bondmen and their descendants, if any, will be none except the wicked, very ungrateful.” 27 O Lord, forgive me, my parents, and any one who enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and women, and do not give the evil-doers increase save in ruin. 28
