In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
