And when your Lord called to Moses, saying: 'Go to the harmdoing nation, 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: My Lord! Lo! I fear that they will deny me, 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 So go ye twain unto Fir'awn and say: verily we are the apostles of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child? 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!" 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 (Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand and lo! it was white to the beholders. 33
