Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 and those that bear the burden [of the rain], 2 And those [ships] sailing with ease 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 surely you speak at variance, 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), 11 They ask, "When it will be the Day of Judgment?" 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They slept very little during the night 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
