Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He over all things hath Power;- 1 who created death and life that He might examine which of you is best in deeds, and He is the Almighty, the Forgiving, 2 He created seven heavens one above the other in layers. You will not find any flaw in the creation of the Gracious One. Then look once again: can you see any flaw? 3 Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out. 4 And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze. 5 For those who have disbelieved in their Lord, We have prepared the torment of hell, the most terrible place to return. 6 When they shall be cast therein, they shall hear a loud moaning of it as it heaves, 7 It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?" 8 They will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'" 9 And they will then say: 'If only we had listened and understood we should not now be among the inhabitants of the Blaze' 10 They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire! 11 Indeed for those who fear their Lord without seeing is forgiveness, and a great reward. 12 Be secret in your speech, or proclaim it, He knows the thoughts within the breasts. 13 Shall He who has created (all things) not know? He is the Subtle, the Aware. 14
