Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 “And from the evil of the matter that darkens when it sets.” 3 "and from the evil of all human beings bent on occult endeavours, 4 From the evil of the envier when he envies. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
