۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
