Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 the men of the Thicket, the people of Tubba'. Every one cried lies to the Messengers, and My threat came true. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
