We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
