Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
