And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 and bestowed upon them the Signs wherein lay an evident test for them. 33 Lo! these, forsooth, are saying: 34 "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 It was not in idle sport that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 except those to whom Allah shows mercy. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate. 42

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
