Nay, by the Moon 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 From the guilty. 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
