Al-nahl 7 of 16
۞ God says, "Do not worship two gods. There is only One God. Have fear of Me". 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and (all that is in) the earth and Ad-Din Wasiba is His [(i.e. perpetual sincere obedience to Allah is obligatory). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. Will you then fear any other than Allah? 52 Whatever favor you have is from Allah. Whenever you are afflicted you groan to Him. 53 Yet when He removes the evil from you, lo! a party of you associate others with their Lord; 54 In the end you will reject Our bounties. Enjoy yourselves; you will soon know (the consequences of your deeds). 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have given them unto what they know not. By Allah! but ye will indeed be asked concerning (all) that ye used to invent. 56 And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire. 57 When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger. 58 With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt, or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) they decide on? 59 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. 60
