When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 for how couldst thou be patient about something that thou canst not comprehend within the compass of [thy] experience?" 68 He said, 'Yet thou shalt find me, if God will, patient; and I shall not rebel against thee in anything.' 69 He said to Moses, "If you will follow me, do not ask me about anything until I tell you the story about it." 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
