۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
