And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
