We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day. 59 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." 60 He said: O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds. 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 But they cried him lies; so We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We drowned those who cried lies to Our signs; assuredly they were a blind people. 64
