Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
