The food of the Zakkum tree 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 like boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
