Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
