1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship 22 Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They will say: nay! ye yourselves were not believers. 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 The statement of Our Lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it, 31 Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.' 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; 37 Most surely you will taste the painful punishment. 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But Allah's chosen servants (shall be spared this woeful end). 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits of various kinds; and they shall be honoured, 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 who used to say: -- Are you also one of those who confirm the Truth (of life after death)? 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 But for Allah's favour, I should be one of those who have been mustered here. 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 Lo! this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of this, then, let them labour, those who labour [in God's way]! 61 Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 (Zaqqum) is a tree which grows from the deepest part of hell, 64 Its spathes are like the prickly pear. 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 And thereafter verily they shall have thereon a draught of boiling water. 67 They can only return to hell. 68 for, behold, they found their forebears on a wrong way, 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 But We sent aforetime, among them, (messengers) to admonish them;- 72 Observe, then, what was the end of those that had been warned, 73 EXCEPT for God's true servants, [most people are apt to go astray.] 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
