And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
