And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
