Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
