Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Not at all but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 noble scribes 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
