The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil). 2 who believe in the unseen, and are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided them with; 3 who believe in what has been sent down to thee and what has been sent down before thee, and have faith in the Hereafter; 4 they are the people who are rightly following their Lord and it is they who shall be successful. 5 As for the unbelievers, alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or hast not warned them, they do not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and over their eyes is a veil; and awesome suffering awaits them. 7
