3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
