The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
