SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
