What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
