Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
