Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
