Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path, 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
