No, by the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning for people -- 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 Of evil-doers: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No! Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
