Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
TRULY WE REVEALED it on the Night of Determination. 1 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 on that night, the angels and the Spirit come down by the permission of their Lord with His decrees for all matters; 4 It is all peace, until the rising of the dawn. 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
