"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
