Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time. 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Did they come into being without any creator? Or were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or do they desire a war? But those who disbelieve shall be the vanquished ones in war. 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 The day on which their struggle shall not avail them aught, nor shall they be helped. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
