Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But no; I swear by what you see, 38 and all that you do not see, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
