Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is no living being but there is a protector over it. 4 So let man consider of what he was created; 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
