AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 for how couldst thou be patient about something that thou canst not comprehend within the compass of [thy] experience?" 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said: If you would follow me, then do not question me about any thing until I myself speak to you about it 70
