1/2 Hizb 54

۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and that hour you are watching 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
